Behaviour Change

We ran a public behaviour change campaign that cut through, shifted perception and stood up to scrutiny.

About the project

A public campaign tackling everyday behaviour that most people didn’t recognise as harmful, within the constraints and scrutiny of a publicly funded environment and a collaboration between London boroughs.

We worked closely with the client to navigate those pressures, ensuring the approach was not only effective, but appropriate, accountable and capable of standing up to challenge.

We focused media around real-world environments, placing messaging where it would be encountered at the point of behaviour rather than relying on passive awareness.

The approach combined targeted outdoor, localised activity and supporting channels to create repeated, unavoidable prompts.

Results

The result was a campaign that cut through, increased awareness, and made the issue feel immediate rather than abstract. The work was strong enough to secure reappointment through subsequent competitive tenders.

The Client Said

“We knew how effectively it was landing when colleagues started being told off by their own families for exactly the behaviour we were targeting!”
